Day One - 9 March 2025

Arrive at Perth International Airport and we will transfer you to your first hotel, The Doubletree Perth Waterfront.  Once the entire group have arrived, we will walk to the Reverley Restaurant where you will be "Welcomed to Country" with a traditional aboriginal welcome and enjoy your welcome dinner.

Day Two - 10 March 2025

We board our coach to explore the Swan Valley, Perth's near urban agritourism destination.  First stop is to check out an agri-entertainment experience and meet a local koala (or two).  Lunch will be at one of the top agri-destinations in the Valley at a farm that specializes in bees and honey.  After lunch, we discover the fruit growing region before arriving at Core Cider for a tour and evening meal at this award winning destination.  After our meal, we baord the coach to return to the DoubleTree Perth Waterfront Hotel.

Day Three - 11 March 2025

After breakfast we board the coach and leave the city.  We head south and our first visit it to the Crooked Carrot, a roadside farm experience like no other.  On leaving the Crooked Carrot, we head to Bunbury and spend the rest o the day discovering Bunbury Farmers Market, one of the best agri-retail experiences in the southern hemisphere.  It is the top tourist attraction for the region.  After looking front-of-the-jouse and behind the scenes at the market, we head for Busselton and the Hilton Garden Hotel.  Our meal will be overlooking the Indiana Ocean at The Shelter, a brewery with a difference.

Day Four - 12 March 2025

We are taking a walk for breakfast.  Why? Ben Ing, who was the top chef at Noma in Copenhagen (when it was the best restaurant int he world) is preparing your breakfast.  The coach will meet us after breakfast and take us to the Capel Marron Farm where you will discover how aqua farming has developed into agri-tourism.  After a tour of the farm, lunch will be served (with Marron).  After lunch, we travel to Cowaramup, a village which as built its whole tourism package around agritourism.  We discover WHY and HOW and take a walk around the unique shops.  Next stop is two retail stores on the same farm targeing different customer profiles: The Chocolate Shop and Provedore.  Dinner is at Vasse Felix, the first commerical vineyard in the region and one of the top vineyards in Margaret River.  After dinner, we travel to Margaret River for your overnight accommodations.

Day Five - 13 March 2025

A quick walk for breakfast on the town green and then we keep heading south.  Our first stop is a small farm that excels in chocolates and coffee, the ideal first stop of the day.  At this stage, we split as a group and allow everyone to go bush and see the tallest tree in the world that you can climb.  We all then go truffle hunting with the dogs.  Truffles may be French, but they are a major crop and agritourism entertainment in this region.  Lunch will be at the Hound and Hunter and will include truffles.  During the afternoon, we drive through the bush and arrive in Nannup.  Our meal will be at The Brewery, a local drinking and eating place in town.  After the meal - you really go bush!  If you have never been glamping, this will be a first.  We will drive to Chestnut Brae where we have set up glamping tents for the next two nights.

Day Six - 14 March 2025

We have no coach today; we are spending the whole day at Chestnut Brae Sweet Chestnut Farm.  After a tour of the farm, John and Linda will take you on a journey of discovery.  Their aim is to challenge all of us while we have this unique opportunity.  Lunch will be on the farm.  The evening meal will be one of the most memorable events of the tour.  One of Australia's leading chefs will take you on a food adventure.

Day Seven - 15 March 2025

Breakfast will be in Nannup and then we had back to Perth.  Lunch will be a secret surprise, set up by John and Linda.  We arrive back at the Doubletree Waterfront Hotel and our final dinner will be at the Ritz Carlton.  After breakfast the following morning, we will provide transportation for those who need it to get back to the Perth airport. 

DETAILS TO NOTE:

  • This tour is limited to only 50 attendees.  We will maintain a waitlist, but we cannot exceed this number due to space constraints at some of the locations.
  • John and Linda Stanley will escort you on every day of the tour, from Perth to the South West and back again.
  • The itinerary is subject to change depending on circumstances at the time.
  • From John: This tour is an investment in the future of your business.  The only thing that is not included in the tour is your travel costs to and from Perth Airport, as well as your flights to and from Perth, Western Australia.  Once you are with us, everything is included.  To secure your place on the tour, we will need a $1000USD deposit per person by the end of February 2024.  This is to secure hotel rooms and restaurants and is non-refundable as the deposits to the hotels and restaurants are not refundable to John Stanley Consulting or NAFDMA.
